TM-281A Receive power drain

Universal website says a max of .3 amps squelched. That's a lot...

Would someone put a DVM on the power lead and see what the drain is, would like to consider for solar ops at this special price in the other topic...

Don't see why it would be more than 100 ma...

Though I do have a TM-281a but my Icom IC-2200H shows a draw of 0.3 amps at 14 volts on receive.

This what is showing on my Powerwerks SPS-30DM power supply which has a digital volt and amp meter.
