We use chicken leg quarters. I marinate them in milk in a closed ziplock bag for 3 days or so outside where its hot. Make it as Nasty as you can. The juice will drip for a long time and put off a real good scent across the water. I 'll bury a hook inside the leg qtr. They'll swallow the whole thing.
