We have been using mylar to store our beans, rice, pasta..etc what about flavoring sauces (ie taco seasoning, gravy mixes and the like).  Do they need to be opened and placed loose in mylar or can we place the packets in with some O2 eaters and seal?  I looked thru several pages and did not see anything about these style packets.  Thanks in advance for the help, we are storing more and more as we can and following the rule of store what you eat and eat what you store.

They will last years without o2 absorbers and mylar..  Sealed in low humidity and cool temps.

I have some purchased pre-Y2K and just stored in my pantry that are still fine.
