I've got a bit of windfall cash to play with and decided that some long-term food storage might be a good investment.

I'm going to the LDS Home Storage Center to do some canning.  There isn't anything on their order form that is outside of my normal diet (except for dried apples).

How do I compute how much to can if I wanted to store for 3 or 6 or 12 months?

Thank you for the calculator!

Wow, I had no idea about the volume required for a year's worth of storage.  There are some things there that I would have never considered.

Looks like this might be more pricey than I thought.
