The housing on one of my PVS-14s was basically being held together with epoxy....So I replaced the housing with one from ABNight Vision.

Went to Adam's shop today and it was basically a NVD Toys-R-Us. He did a slim line conversion on the objective lens for me....and I just got it together a little while ago.

Seems to be a solid unit.....I'll do an AAR after I use it a bit.

cool!  question - why not go to the single AA housing?  what is the lens improvement for?  size or function?

He doesn't offer a single AA housing....this model is NVM-2AA.

The lens conversion is to allow proper fit.....I used a lens from a ANVIS-9.

I'll have to keep that in mind in case I ever bust the housing on mine.
