  Wife and two daughters picked a gallon and half in very short time at fish-camp. The rose hips rotted on the vine. We missed them by a week and a half. Just too much rain and a death in the family. Also pulled the taters. We split between three families.  |

Great stuff and fun to make. My wife and I make a batch every year, it's great on a chicken or turkey sandwich.
Be warned, cook it outdoors. We use a coleman stove on the back deck. The smell while cooking is unpleasant. |

Can also take dream whip/or heavy whipping and add berries. Quick dirty little desert.
