Get well soon!
I was in the hospital 8 days in August with it, and may have suffered a heart attack in March that may have been brought on by the lasting effects. Understand how you're feeling. |

Glad you are okay, and appear to be on the mend.
GD keeps telling me that it's no worse than a cold, and there's no chance of getting it anyway. (unless you are old, and then you should get it and die get out of the way so we can "get moving again") Sorry ........... I'm grouchy tonight. ETA: I hope you don't get any of the shitty long-term aftereffects. |

Damn, Get well soon.
It sounds like you are mending! I had two illnesses. The first one last year before all the hype I never got tested, before things ramped up......I was out of breath just getting up going to the kitchen, head swooned. scary. Felt like that for almost a month. Second one might have just been the flu, felt like crap and tested negative despite having long lunch with a buddy who felt sick that night and tested positive, loss of smell and taste etc. Keep your head up.

I'm no medical professional. Not even close. Daughter just graduated with a doctoral degree in Pharmacy. Two months ago she completed a six week rotation, shadowing the local county informal "COVID Specialist". Not an official role, this guy just ended up as the 'go to guy (MD)' for any serious Covid patient. Interesting observations.... Yup, a lot of those who died were elderly, or obese, or had other complications. No surprise. However, a lot of those who did NOT die were often NOT elderly, obese or otherwise compromised. And in many cases, these people seem to have suffered what looks to be a high probability of some seriously life altering long term effects. Virtually EVERY case was been treated with some industrial level anticoagulants: Many patients were experiencing blood clots EVERYWHERE. Think stroke-like effects. Its for freaking real.....
No. COVID is NOT the flu. I know a lot of people are saying "Its just the flu, why are we doing this". I respects different opinions but the results and impacts are often VERY profound, and its NOT the flu. She's come home with some info that has made me very very happy I've had the shot... |

I had it pretty rough back in october, shit is nasty. both wife and I were very sick for several weeks. felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest, BP was crazy high. arteries in my legs swelled up, not clotted up just the walls of arteries swelled up in legs, had huge lumps that looked like watermelons on my legs and it was painful af! dont ever want that shit again! hope you get to feeling better OP

It's a strange disease. I spent a week thinking I had a Cold. On the 8th day I was feeling better and realized I could not smell or taste anything. That was 4 weeks ago and my smell and taste is finally coming back. A year ago I was doing everything I could to avoid it. Now, I'm glad I've had it, and extremely glad it wasn't that bad. I would rather have the natural antibodies.

I was in the hospital for 3 days after having covid the previous month. But it wasn't from Covid that put me there It was blood clots. only 28 and in good shape.. covid kicked my ass

).I got it over Christmas and while I didn't go to the hospital, I was on my ass for a few days. The wife just had one day she felt "off". I'll keep you updated. Wife and I are visiting Jacksonville this weekend and looking for some places to possibly move in a few years if our boy ends up there as planned. Stay safe. ROCK6 |
