Settled in on two brands, Nikon and Leupold. Both for their clarity without breaking the bank.
That's mainly because I use them a lot. This said I've kind of decided anything less than a 30mm objective is worthless due to lack of FOV. That means, mine are a tad larger than most pack options and quite frankly my compacts are all in a box collecting dust. On my boat, I use a Nikon Ocean Pro with compass and in my pack a Leupold Yosemite. |

I've used Nikon full size for hunting for a lot years with a bino strap to make it easier to carry. I've only had to send one pair in over 10 years. Great customer service

I bought some cheap nikons, 8x or 7x...not sure. No complaints. Keep them in my cruiser for work. Been in there prib 10 yrars now.

There's a similar thread with some good suggestions. I mentioned a set of Vortx binoculars, which I still recommend as a very good option for the price.
