I bought the issue last week when I saw it on the newsstands.
I have not had time to read the entire issue, but the articles I have read I have been impressed with. The articles in Be Ready are well researched and in-depth, where as in the latest incarnation of American Survival Guide, the articles are pretty much a gear review or a glossing over of a subject. The article on why mothers should train with and carry a firearm, I just photo-copied multiple copies of that article to pass out to women acquaintances and friends wives. |

Compare the cost and quality of that to a mag that has b&w pics and paper that's like slightly thicker news paper. Apparently the higher quality stuff sells better. |

But electronic copies are readily available of all the issues and some back issues are still available. We are adding 24 pages to the next issue as well....... This is not a monthly or bi-monthly title, it comes out twice a year so it does have more time, effort and expense put into it. Hence the cover price. But we are trying to be very information heavy and turn out a magazine that is truly interesting and useful. comments always welcome |
