I've seen lots of prepper supply websites and all offer 5-gal buckets, mylar bags, etc., but they all seem pretty expensive.

I get mine from Uline, which gives tiered discounts for bulk buying (great for group buys!).  They also have some pretty good prices compared to the prepper supply places I've seen and their standard shipping has been pretty much overnight to my location.  Here are a few relevant links:

Buckets & lids of varying size

Mylar food bags

Vacuum bags

Oxygen absorbers

Dessicants

Apologies if this information is old or otherwise not useful, and I'd love to hear where y'all get your supplies--I'm always looking for a smarter way to do things.

Depending on what is on sale I check to add stuff to orders.

I have gotten stuff from amazon at reasonable prices and I was mostly wanting to get some various stuff in to experiment with.

Now I have a better idea of what I want to do so ordering in a large order would be worth it.

But for getting some variety sizes to mess with and learn on I just add stuff in to other orders.
