We have a bit of wheat put aside and nothing more than a tiny hand mill to process it with. I recently received a pay increase so I bought the spousal unit a
Blendtec Kitchen Mill. A few of her friends have them, the online reviews appear to be pretty good and the price seemed reasonable compared to the other models. She received it today and it whips out flour extremely quickly. It's pretty loud but who cares, it does it's job and does it quickly. The flour on the finest setting feels like silk between the fingers. She has some bread rising now, can't wait to slather some with butter :)
The problem is that it needs power to run. Eventually I'd like to pick up a Country Living hand mill in case poo hits the fan but at least this will allow us to start rotating our wheat.
