How long does pork chops, steaks, hamburger and chicken keep when vacuum sealed?



Found some in freezer from nov 08- jan 09

If it's not freezer-burned, and doesn't smell or look funky once it thaws out, you're probably good to go.  Might not taste as fresh as something you stuck in the freezer last week, but I doubt it'll make you sick.

That being said, internet forums may not be the best place to get advice on "do you think this will kill me?"  So if you die, let us know so we'll know what to tell the next guy who asks.
