Not very practical, but I saw this and some people here might think it was a neat idea.

LOL. Alright, major points for cool factor but, if my BOL springs a leak, I want to worry about rainwater getting on any exposed dry goods or clothing. I do not want to worry about my entire family drowning.

probably does not work so well when the grid goes down...

not knowing anything about this type of thing... I assume that there must be some type of line for the electric to the surface... and probably some type of pump for air...

still would be very cool to visit

I agree, not very practical at all, especially with the cost, but th coolness factor is pretty high.  A similar layout, only burried would  cool/
