I was watching the history channel and they were talking about alcohol and the process to make it so I began to wonder if I could perserve my water with vodka or some strong beverage instead of bleach.  If anyone can answer this for me please let me know.  Bleach is just hard to drink.  I do have a brita for the drinking of my stored water.  I don't use my brita for everyday stuff I just store it for that.  Alcohol wouldn't taste so bad.
