Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Fishing Clubs

I have a few buddies that fish, but was hoping to get some info on area fishing clubs.  What to look for, pay, etc.?  Is this even worth my time.  I would like to fish a couple times a month, meet some people, perhaps go fishing with some of them, and learn the area waters.  Is this essentially the purpose of fishing clubs?  Any and all thoughts are welcome.  Thanks in advance.

not sure on fishing clubs. I belong to a game hunting club. Alot of the farms have good size ponds you can fish. I think I have acess to maybe 15-17 ponds from 89 farmers. River bank from 2. Ya might want to check that in your area.

I think I pay $50.00 or $75.00 a year for my membership can't remember.
