Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, which specializes in high adventure backpacking trips, has had to push back its season because of the Ute Park wildfire.

The camp is selling backpacking meals online. $7.50 for breakfast meals and $8.50 for lunch or dinner. Each meal feeds 2 people.

I went there in 2011, and I remember the bags mostly containing freeze dried entrees for dinner, along with lots of expensive fruit/nut/granola type bars. There are even fatty favorites like Oreos and Ritz crackers lol.
