I like Korean food and ran across these Korean "MREs" on eBay and thought it would be cool to try one, to see if they'd be something I'd want to take camping. It isn't an MRE in the American sense, in that you need to rehydrate it. It's more like a Mountain House dehydrated entree. The dry weight is 120 grams.
Front and back of the package. The spoon was included.
Inside the bag, showing the dehydrated food. Also the sesame and gojang sauce (Korean BBQ sauce) packets included.
After rehydrating for 10 minutes and then adding the oil and sauce.
It was pretty damn tasty and not too spicy (although I like Korean food full strength). Just needed a little kimchi to go with it. Size-wise, by itself it's not enough for dinner for me, but it would make a good lunch.
I got a 3-pack from eBay vendor "magnetic1." No affiliation, just a satisfied customer.
