I've been back almost a year now, and I'm still over 1.5" shorter than I was before I deployed.

Anyone else have this, and did you get it back?

I don't remember this happening the first time, but that was a much easier deployment.

Another buddy of mine lost 2".

No me gusta.

According to the Army, I've lost 1 1/2 inches in the last 3 years. I don't think it has anything to do with deployments brother, maybe old age?

Gravity is lower at high altitudes.

So we can infer you were deployed at sea level?

Or, at least, a lower altitude than you normally live?

Or maybe they used a different tape/method for height/weight...

I was mostly wondering if anyone had the same and got most of it back.

Do your clothes still fit the same?

My pants do, so it stands to reason that the loss was all in my spine.

It blows out your foot arch too.
