There was a pretty good one in "Band of Brothers" where Cpt Winters says "We're paratroopers, Lt, we're SUPPOSED to be surrounded." I thought that was pretty good.

I thought that that quote was from Chesty Puller in Korea.

The Bastone quote is "NUTS" when asked to surrender.  Not sure who the general was.

The story was that it was at the Battle of the Bulge when the commander of a tank unit stopped by a fighting position to ask an infantryman where a secure area was.  

The paratrooper allegedly said, "Right behind me.  This is the 82nd Airborne and this is as far as the bastards are going."
