I got 149 for the E-4 board and 149 for the E-6 board.  It's amazing what you can remember over the years from studing, mock boards.  I had 546 points for e-5, can't remember for E-6, because it didn't matter, I would be wearing the rank the next month anyway.

Since when was there an E-4 board? I never had to go to board to get a sham shield. You have to go to ITC if you want to get CPL in an instructor unit.

I think he meant going to the E-5 board as a E-4.

But since when were the boards worth 150 points?  They used to be 200 points.  And points typically stayed at 999  :(  Our boards were to be feared!  Other units in our brigade formed their own board rather than face ours!  I passed my second board with a whopping 175 points.  Out of 200 I must suck right?  No, I happened to be the ONLY E-4 that passed day, a single E-5 passed also.  Not to mention for 175 points meant enduring a two hour interrogation!

Actually, I have heard of some units having E-4 boards for E-3's also.  I guess when competition is tight...
