Woohoo! I passed my first PT test with a blazing 204! The first PT test I have taken in 14 years.

My situp score was terrible but thats due to my shrinking belly.

Any PT studes here?

I have not tried it in a long time either.  It would be interesting to give it a shot.

Here is some PFT info: Military PFT

I always thought it was kind of crazy that a 20 year old female is allowed more time to complete the 1.5 mile run, than a 49 year old male.

Congrats - I got a 261 not too long ago after being out for 5 years it took a graet deal of work to get there.  Also had to drop 40 lbs - have another 20 to go.

My last was a 292 in October '04.  I suspect I'm a long way from there now.

Orion, aren't you an 03?  I'd be interested in hearing about your experience getting back in after your separation from a junior officer's perspective.

285 a month and a half ago.  80pu, 84 su, and 1402 2 mile.  I have never maxed the 2 mile run.

There is a guy that consistently scores 350+ in BN and a few that are consistently above 300.  I'm somewhat above average, but not a whole lot.

We hd some fellows who would hit just over 500 on APFT!  My best is 280 (with no overscore), no matter what I just cannot max the run.  I did hit a 13:00 flat on run at my peak.  I can still max the other events but my run is now horrible.

I had to take the APFT for the Army ROTC scholarship.  I have my results but not my score, can anyone translate it?

55 push ups (one minute)
52 sit ups (one minute)
6:02 (one mile)

Did not know that.  I guess the LTC was just getting a feel for what I can do so I could be judged.

I'm doing that P2 profile PT right now for cronic bursitis in my knee. Had so many cortizone shots there is a depression in my skin. I'm dropping retirement papers in June for June next year. The doc just told me a week ago I have 2 collapsed discs in my lower back. I injured it during a mortar attack in Iraq in 2004. Everyone else on the truck was faster than me so they ran over me and pushed me out the tail gate. Landed funny and in great pain. No xray at our base camp so doc gave me Ranger Candy and said "SUCK IT THE F*CK UP" followed by "OLD MAN, HEAL SLOW". I could just feel the love.

Im in the  2MR boat too. I always get like a 1350 and max everything else. I can run forever at a decent pace but I just burn out real fast if I go any quicker.

last record I got a 1350 on the run.   It was my slowest one yet.  This who running in alaska thing is killing me.  Used to score high 200s or low 300s down in benning but that score isn't so shiny anymore.

I ran an 11:28 at Fort Huachuca in 95 when I was a 21 year old stud.  After I commissioned and went back in, I never managed to break 13:00.  Old age catching up, I guess.
