Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Ft. Polk - info request

Next week (7 Sept) I’ll be driving from Little Rock, AR to Ft Polk, LA (work related).  Does anybody here have any info on what conditions are like in the Ft. Polk/Leesville area?  Road conditions, gas availability?  Is base billeting maxed out with evacuees?  I need to get in contact with the Army unit I’m working with at Polk to find out if the conference I’m going to is even still on.  Anyways . . . thanks!

A buddy of mine reported that they ran out of gas on post today.  That's all the info I have for you.
