I got these from a friend of mine, they belonged to her father who was a Marine plt. leader during the Korean War.  Other items in the box (map, etc.) lead me to believe that he brought these back from Korea as well.

Can anyone tell me nationality and intended purpose of these items?

Thank you in advance.

I'am not a Korean War Vet but I saw similar pipes in SEA. The 2 lower items are pipes for smoking whatever it is you have on hand. More than likely a generic Asians design. I could only guess at what the top item is.

Bugles the Chicom used.

The best way to describe that is to tell you watch the movie Pork Chop Hill.  At the end when the Chicoms started their last attack you can hear bugles start the attack.

It’s a bit more involved than that, but that would be a good example.
