I just got home from taking the test for Mt Olive PD in NJ.

Over 550 people took it, and from what I hear from the inside there are 8 guys retiring in the next 2 years.

8 out of 550, i like my odds! haha

But seriously its a really good dept of 55 guys and I have heard nothing but praise about everyone there. I would truely be honored to work for that dept.

I've taken 4 tests so far.

biggest had 3200 show up for a possibility of 250 openings.

the three others never stated they were actually hiring.....just updating their lists.

2 had 100+ people testing.  the last one had 350 people show up.

It's one hell of a tough market out there now.  I should have done this 2 years ago instead of getting an AAS in police science.......
