We carry the Remington 55 Grain Accutip for general patrol rifle and SRT use in our 223. I have been reading about the Federal Bonded rounds for the 223 and was thinking of buying some to use in the event of a suspect in a vehicle.

Well what do you think guys, worth the money or just empty the mag and burm a hole in the windshield.

We carry Federal bonded in our rifles, only way to go for a duty round. Any other round separates the core from the jacket when penetrating glass. This causes loss of stability and mass, resulting in reduced penetration of the intended target.

Our school resource officers have frangible round available in case they deploy inside.
