In Wyoming: try Green River, Rock Springs, Casper, Gillette, and maybe Cheyenne.

Montana varies right now.
City can negotiate their pay. I believe that Sheriff and Highway Patrol are both set by state law.
Right now a new sheriff's deputy will probably make between $34,000 and $40,000 / year after overtime.
HP is also about in that range.
City can be a bit lower or higher but not by much.

ETA: By varies, I mean that each jurisdiction pays differently. If I remember right the state law for the sheriff's department has to do with population size, then each deputy makes a certain percentage of what the sheriff does. Highway Patrol then makes the average of what the highest paid deputies in the top 7 (?) counties in the state make.
Cities can do pretty much whatever they want on the pay.
