Thursday one of our Animal Control Officers was calling for help because of a 65-70 lb. Pit Bull that was about to eat him up.  All that they issue those poor guys is a snare pole and this Officer was in a bind.  I was close so I went over there because the A C Officer was pretty paniced and I got there as one of the Patrol guys did.  Anyway, the Patrol Officer pulled out his Taser and lit the Pit Bull up with it.  The Pit took 3 full rides on it before the A C Officer got him snared and under control.  All that I could do was laugh my butt off because that Patrol Officer had hit the ARFCOM trifecta, not only did he shoot someone's dog, but Tasered it at the same time.  He kept asking me what was so funny but how do you explain a joke that far 'inside' to someone?  I'm still laughing about it.  BTW it was pretty cool to see.  That is the first time that I had seen a dog get Tasered in real life.

I had to shoot a pit with the Taser once. Worked pretty good.

+1 I did that with first defense while camping in MA. It was a crazy night.

I tasered a Big ass pit a couple years ago.  worked very well.
