Sorry to say though, if you can't do it with the first two and contact stun isn't an option, it is time for a new tool!!

Just curious RDP, have you ever used a taser?  The reason I ask is although it's not common that the cartridges sometimes fail.  If this happens then it's nice to have an extra on my belt.  I've been carrying my spare in my cargo pocket, sort of uncomfortable.  I know Taser sells a spare attachment on the battery housing, like a extention but this makes the unit a little bulky.

I haven't seen or heard of a single cartridge failing, while there have been several guns that started melting, mine failed to discharge, the spark count was short cycling, and then we had the AD issue due to a programming failure that would discharge the capacitor when you cycled through the programming mode.

Yes, I have used one........on several occasions. Still carry one and prefere the bulkier grip holder. Even though we are all issued one, not everyone carries it. There are times I have given my taser to someone else to use and why leave them with only one cartridge?

My comment talked about two cartridges............more than that and you need some help!
