Ok, I am in the middle of my 11 page police officer application that wants to know what I have done or I am doing since I was born, and I am to a part that asks list any traffic citations I have ever (received), now should I list only whats on my driving record or is it necessary that I include some that  I never got convicted for or had thrown out , it dosent really bother me either way but if its not necessary I don't want to waste anymore time than I have to on it, besides I am not so sure I could even remember what the few thats not on my driving record are its been a long time.   Thanks

List the ones you know about in as much detail as possible.  You can always make a note and state something to the effect that you did have another ticket, however due to the time lapse, you do not remember the details.

By doing this, you show two things:

1)  Your trying to be TOTALLY honest.

and

2)  It has actually been a while since you had a violation.

No one cares about traffic violations UNLESS they show a "pattern" of misconduct or poor driving.  If there has been some time inbetween tickets, there should not be a "pattern".

Just like the app says...list all citations you ever recieved.

Just list what you remember even if it's only one detail.
