I'm looking for a specific video of an officer/deputy involved shooting. I don't know when or where it was and can't find it online. This video shows the officer or deputy wandering around and picking his brass up while backup officers are securing or aiding the bad guy that he just had to shoot.

Also, does anybody have any OIS videos that you normally couldn't find on youtube? These tend to be the harder-hitting ones that aren't released online. I use any videos like these that I can get my hands on for our use of force training.

I'm striking out. This video is pretty distinct in that the copper was wandering around looking the ground and picking up his brass.

As much as I would enjoy going through that thread, there's no way on my schedule. Lol.

That video you're looking for was a real OIS, or a training video?

I Googled and didn't find much.

but this:
I went to an FBI course a few years ago about officers killed and assaulted in the line of duty. In part of the class we watched interview videos of cops and bad guys that survived gunfights. One older cop that was interviewed said that he had fired every round through his revolver and immediatly dumped the empty brass into his hand, then into his pocket, and then stood there waiting for the next range command.

It was an actual OIS. It wasn't the Newhall incident. This guy was a tubby guy who was just wandering around picking his brass up right in front of the camera while everybody else attended to the newly-ventilated bad guy.
