The day started with round 2 of a domestic in the projects.

He bashed her head with a piece of pipe last night.

She found him and slashed his throat good and deep.

Give her that one on points.

Then I'm backup on a domestic.

I see a dwarf (Dwarf?) with a full size hi cap 9mm open carried, walking to his car in the lot.

"Morning officer."

"How y'all doing?"

Next I pull up on a wreck.

2 Hondas, both with Tennessee tags.

2 very cute redheads standing outside.

"...You 2 know each other?"

Nope. What are the odds?

Finally, I'm working a wreck on the Interstate.

The lookyloos jam up traffic (of course) and BAM! another wreck.

Now I got to walk out in freeway traffic-not unlike wading into a bull elephant stampede-and shut down the blocked lanes.

What a beautiful, warm, sunny and windy spring day!

Sometimes this job is just

Other times it's got its'
