I R a fireman! LOL. I am also a reserve deputy as well, so this section on this board is right up my alley. Both volunteer. How do I keep getting myself into such things? LOL.
But really, I do love it. Even though I don't get paid. I enjoy being able to serve my community and sometimes that is more important than money. I have a good job that is flexible as well, so that allows me to help out with those other duties. But I admit, sometimes I have long days and the training does get tiring...but right now I would not give up my job or either of my vounteer activities. Love them all. |
