Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Any USFS officers here?

Today I saw the nationwide listing for USFS LEOs, thinking about applying.  Already a GL7, step 4 in another agency, but the outdoor work seems a lot more appealing to me than behind a fence.  Id like to hear some officers experiences with this agency before I give it the go and drop a resume.

How long ago was it posted? I applied for this position but they closed it due to lack of funding. If its new I would like to know.

Its up right now, opened March 8th til Mar 7 next year.
