Poor guy gives up his life doing the job, and all the brass can say is he violated procedure by not calling in his location and stuff before getting out to investigate, what a shame. I'm a retired Patrol Sgt. so I know the realities of life, someone might have been using the net for a traffic stop/check whatever, or the radio skip could have been so bad he might not have been able to get on the net, whatever, he tries his best to do his job and catch bad guys and all the desk huggers can say is he violated procedure, sounds like a real cherry department, with some real class supervisors. When things happen, they happen fast, and you got to be fast on the responce or you've lost the battle/
