Guys, I am not one of you, so I hope you don't mind me posting in your forum.  I saw on a dumbshit thread in the GD that today is Memorial Day for LEO's.  I have never heard of such a thing.  I have always been pro-LEO, but the events of Sept. 11 brought a new understanding of emergency personnel hazards, as I know it did for many Americans.  Sooooo, I just wanted to say a simple "Thank You" for your daily efforts, and let you know I appreciate it and am troubled deeply when one of you is injured or worse.  I do pay attention and mourn the loss of our LEO's when it occurs.  Again, I hope you don't mind me posting this here--I just wanted to avoid the circus in my usual haunt, the GD Forum.  The half dozen or so LEO bashers torque my @ss, but I hope you guys don't let them bother you.  Probably a lower percentage here than the population as a whole.  Take care.
