I’m not sure exactly where I should post this, but what the hell. My friend Deputy Gilleshamer whom I went though the academy with decided to end his life last night.
I don’t have any details, but we are all asking for your prayers for his family and friends as we all go through this difficult time.

Update: Still nothing in the papers but I'm told that there probably be something in the Durango Herald tomorrow. Also, I'm told that a memorial service will be held Friday in Durango. I will of course be attending... More updates when recieved.

The service will be held at the La Plata County Fair Grounds this Friday at 1400hrs.

Suicide is a horrible thing. IT is selfish to do that to the family and others. Prayers to the family! Hopefully God will make everyones path smooth!
