[b]I Close My Eyes[/b]



When I close my eyes,
I can see you smiling…
With your soft skin glowing -
From the golden rays of the sun.

Your elegant dark hair -
Brushing gently on your petite shoulders…
As a tepid, soft breeze -
Invisibly elevates the ends of your hair.

So divine and blissful you are -
If only you could see yourself through my eyes…
I reach out to touch your hand -
Electrifying as our fingertips touch ever so delicately.

Smooth skin that is warm and yielding to the touch –
Close to you, the aroma of fresh spring flowers…
I gaze into your lovely auburn eyes –
Wondering if you realize how much this all means to me.

Tenderly I wrap my arms around you –
Hearts beating hard and fast…
Barely able to keep conscious –
As our lips gently touch for the first time.
