First of all, welcome to the site.
 Much like you, I came in here to try and figure out why The Mr. spent so much time here. Besides being an excellent resource for information regarding guns, knives, and various other things, there is a great camaraderie here. The people (for the most part) are quite nice, and are very willing to help you with any questions or problems you might have regarding firearms. We also have a pretty great group of women here that manage to keep 'the softer side' runningly pretty smoothly. Stick around.  So who's your hubby? |

Usually the ladies warn newbies about the men, but this time I beat them here, so I want to warn you about some of THEM! hehe  There are several who are bad influences--if you know what I mean.  We even have two with tattoos. You know--the kind mom warned us about.  You will love it here--enjoy the site!

this is the huuby and our son, his arf.com name is tReznr. He's been on here for a few years now. I did notice the comraderie, he always posts for all kinds of questions from car problems, bike problems and where to find cheap gun stuff. As for a bushmaster, I already got one. I mastered my bush when I met my hubby but thanks for the advice. It used to be his but became mine when we went shooting up in the hills in Oregon and I shot better than he did. His dad calles me his little Annie Oakley (SP) |

Welcome aboard. I too found Arfcom from watching the hubby spend insane amounts of time here. SO now I too spend insane amounts of time here and we are both happy.
 The knowledge here is great, if I want an answer I can understand about shooting or whatever, I look here. (Hubby has a bad habit of going off topic and into WAYYY to much detail when I ask questions, so I limit asking him now) |

Welcome! My boyfriend turned me on to the site, and now I'm on here more than him. I think he's a little jealous cuz folks like me better than him. LOL!!!
Anyway...it's a great group of women, just be wary of posting anything too personal in General Discussion (or anywhere...remember, this IS the internet). Stay awhile. We love having new women! Daisy |

I'm the hubby. I doubt most people recognize me as I don't post all that much (I'm just a wallflower). I do, however, want GrumpyBunny to get in on the arfcom madness. I won't feel too bad about geeking out here if the wife is just as busy posting. And Petagunner, thanks for the kind words. I like the Oregon hometown forum 'cuz it helps me from getting too homesick for Portland. |
