After having discussion with me about the longterm effects and contemplating on it with her girl friends over the past couple of weeks.

I anticipate this being a big change, but I am happy for her.

BC can really mess with women,  my ex got on the shot and within in 48 hours I wanted to kill her.  That lasted until it wore off 3 months later and she got on the nuva ring.  It made her really emotional but not as pissy.  I sorda feel sorry for women that are on it, but until they make a man shot, TAKE THE PILL!

Well this explains why my gf was acting so crazy last night.
Glad it's not my fault.

Love 'em both...but the above (while funny) is VERY true!

Considering what we now think the BC has done, I don't think that will be a problem

What do you think the BC has done to her?

Are the 2 of you going to start Fertility Awareness or Natural Family planning?  If so, tip #1 that they don't tell you in any of the books: both you and she will be at your horniest when she is fertile.    It's a law of nature.

These are helpful: www.early-pregnancy-tests.com/saliva-fertility-test.html

I use it to double check all my other symptoms of baby-making-readyness.

Nope...never happened to me.

I do have a friend that says that's what happened to them though.

My wife stopped her BC about 8 months ago.  It didn't take long.

I didn't use BC from 1991 until 2000 when my husband had his vascetomy.  It was some work but I did not have any unplanned pregnancies.  Perse is right the funniest time is the most fertile time.

Best of luck!  Patty  *ETA* she will take some time to come off of the pills.
