We had two deaths over the Christmas holiday. Last week, a 26 yr old neighbor girl died of an epilipitic seisure. She was mentally handicaped also, but oh so inocent to see her in the casket. Now yesterday we had a first cousin (55 yr old)die in a car accident. Lost control on an icy patch and since he wasn't wearing a seatbelt, was thrown out.  How sad a time for both of these families.

Sorry for your losses.  The family dog died on christmas.. waited until after to tell our 5 year old.  Didn't want to ruin the holidays for her.

My condolences. We lost my father in law, and his brother both within weeks of Christmas, then topped off that joy with all of my family getting the flu.

Ugh.

Thanks for the prayers.  Hubby is pallbearer so this will be tough on him.
HH - sorry to hear about your dog, that would be tough for the kids. It was best to wait to tell them.
Swingset: sympathies to you and your family also. Hope you are all feeling better!

Sending prayers to both families. It's hard when things like this happen during the holidays.

I've got an idea!!! (happens occasionally!)

For all those awake at the stroke of 2006, how about we toast, or send a prayer for ARFCOM to have a happier, healthier, more profitable, joyous 2006!
Shoot...if all of ARFCOM did that, I think we may get it accomplished!

Fire mission, karma style.
