You know thats an awsome idea! Seriously, Id buy a quilt with an AR or AK on the side...maybe have some words with it. How hard is it to make a custom quilt? |

Now THAT is a fantastic idea...ARFCOM quilts...Scary black rifles...Hmmm... MrsG, we should put our heads together and come up with a prototype.... I'll have to post pics of my first quilt. I'm not finished with it (still need to put the binding on), but I came up with it myself, pieced it together, and quilted it myself. It's actually going to be a wall hanging instead of a large sized quilt, but it's cool nonetheless. Has a lot of embroidery on it. (Had to make a sample of an Xmas embroidery card at work, so that's what I came up with.) I'll post a pic of it sometime today, maybe. ETA: By the way, the fishy quilt is awesome! Quilters amaze me, they truly do. It's not the easiest thing in the world to do, and it's baffling to see what you can come up with. Kudos, MrsG! |

Love the fish quilt...the marbelized colors really pop out against the background.
I'm thinking about a Pink rifle quilt, in applique, maybe crazy quilted withe lace and pearls, sequins, metallic threads. Pink, peach , ivory and ecru color scheme... That might bend a few Quilt Show judges :) Which reminds me...quilt show today and tomorrow in Van Nuys, CA, near the Van Nuys Airport...I'm going tomorrow. Love the vendor mall as well. Gwen |
