I set a goal in early April, to get down to 125lbs by Aug 13. (my last day of work this season)

I weighed in today at exactly 125, 1 week early

I have set aside some money as a "reward" if I achieved my goal...

So tomorrow.... I'm shopping

Go to the gunstore, then auto parts.

I've already been to the gunstore

And, I don't do auto parts. Isn't there a dealership where you drop your car to get it fixed?

Way to go, girl!  Now when do you get that cast off?

Thanks!

Cast came off last monday. I have to wear this walking boot thing for a few weeks, but at least I can walk! And I covered MILES today

Thanks also to MrsGH, Bama, Mami, Deej, and Patty

ETA: Thanks also to Skammy

The cast sucks, but so does the boot.  It's irritating knowing you're so close to being without it, but you're still stuck with it for the time being.

The only thing good about the boot, is that I'm able to take it off.  I've already started walking without it, a week ahead of schedule.

I'm SO over the broken leg thing

I'm so glad your leg is heeling nicely.  I can't imagine hobbling around a slippery swimming pool with a cast.  Crud, I'd break my neck AND my leg!

Its not the hobbling AROUND that was difficult, it was trying to get in and out!

Congratulations!

So how much did you take off?  What did you do to take it off?  Could use some pointers here.

I increased my cardio, started a core body workout, and started swimming more often, and with more intensity.

As far as food, I only eat healthy food that I don't like. And NOTHING between meals. EVER.

THEN I broke my leg, and didn't think I was going to be able to drop, because I couldn't exercise at all for 7 weeks. The crutches actually worked out to be a good thing, using them WAS a workout for me! I was worried about getting too much definition in my upper body, but they really buffed out my arms.  I'll have to start again on the legs in a few weeks...

I went from a size 10/12 to a very comfortable size 6, and Girlfriend..Its SO much more fun to shop in the 6's

Oh Yeah!

Want the "Range Report"?

Several shirts and tank tops, some shorts and skirts, a new sundress, and a purse.

No shoes yet...you get really funny looks when you go into a shoe department in a cast/boot

I've already ordered the 1911

I think Diamonds on the eyewear would be a bit much...These are mine:

Congrats!  Losing weight-and keeping it off-is a VERY difficult thing to do!

Nothing does more for ones self esteem.
