I dated a girl when I had the beard, she allways told me I had a very "soft" beard, not all scruffy...

I like scruffy. I like facial hair. I like stubble. I like the rugged look. Can you tell how much I like it by how much I keep saying it.
 Of course, there are times when clean-shaven is nice and more appropriate, as well. |

That 5:00 shadow on some men is just like setting the timer for later on. However, later on it really needs to be gone. A gotee depends on the mans face, but never, NEVER does one of the buttcutts look good. Thats where the hair goes thinly around the lips, that just looks too pubic. I would need to see the mans face, so does that mean this thread is useless without pictures? |

facial hair on a man depends on the man. Hard to explain but some men just don't look good with it. Now I am married to a man that looks good with it and I love it, have actually asked him to never shave it. I do like it trimmed and neat though, no scraggly scruffy looking stuff.

I've always had a preference for men with facial hair, especially a mustache. And that scruffy, rugged look is enough to make me weak-kneed.
 It really does depend on the man; I've seen a few guys who look better clean shaven. I have known only one man who was sexy however he chose to shave - or not.

I think it depends more on the woman. I've been told to keep the Goat, or to shave, by equal numbers of girls. Right now, I'm just "scruffy".
