I live north of Dallas, only a few miles from Lake Texoma. Funny, we moved up here to by closer to the lake, and now we hardly ever go! Having a farm is alot more work than I thought it would be.

There is a really good group of board members in the DFW area. I know they get together regularly - check the Hometown Texas board if you're interested in meeting up with some of the people near you. Also, don't miss Gunstock 2004 near Waco this October!

this is the only ladies forum--the hometown forums are co-ed, but much more civil than GD--just say hi, tell them you want to meet to shoot and they will line up to take you out --Hopefully, they will be nice about it

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I found out about logging onto the women's section first from my hubby--bluedogsixty. We have three horses, two Quarter horses, and a Tennessess Walking horse.
I ride one of the Quarter horses, and the Tenn Walker. We also have six dogs, five cows, and a bull. Good thing we live in the country! |
