I used to have a Galco purse.  I used it for a long time.
They are good purses, but I haven't used a CCW purse in years.  

Now I just get a good quality purse with multiple zippers and dedicate one(usually the center) to the gun in a standard holster.  
But you don't know what you do/don't like until you try.

my wife and daughter both have one that is a Bulldog brand they looked for a while before they found one they like good luck

My wife uses CCW purses from Gun Tote'n Mamas™.  The GTM-70 and the GTM-90 models.

I have met the ladies at SHOT and they make great products.

I'd heavily discourage it. Off-body CCW is a bad idea for multiple reasons.

If that can't be done, I'd suggest a Galco as one of the others here did.

Gun Tote'n Mama makes very good carry purses.  It's what I use.  Galco are also good.
