My first lower receiver. I probably couldn’t duplicate it all by myself but I feel like I accomplished something today!! And we did something together. ?? and he didn’t yell at me and understood my frustration ??

No! But that spring was a pain in the ass. But it wasn’t the worst part. I used needle nosed pliers to jiggle and wiggle it until I could secure it with the castle nut. Little bastard

You did a great job, and it was awesome to see your excitement as you worked through the frustrating parts. It was good for me too, to verbally walk someone through something I’ve done 100 times (and remember each part name instead of saying “this thing goes here”) is different than just doing it myself in silence. It’s just as therapeutic either way. Well done.
