Mouse = little
rat = big Chevy 302, etc = mouse motor 427, etc = rat motor .30 cal = normal gun .22 = smaller than normal = mouse gun I personally doubt it has anything to do with varmint hnting. Just MHO. |

Ya know, I think your right. In the 69 Z-28's. It's been a long time since I've "hot rodded." The 69 camaro I had had an LT-1 (350). Back then it wasn't "kewl" to have anything less than a 350. :D
So the "Rat Motor" was a big block (extra points for an LS 6 454) and the Mouse motor was the small block 350 (extra points for an LT-1). Ah those were the days. Edited to say: I stand corrected Norm. I appologize |

Chevy used the 302 DZ motor in the 1967, 1968, 1969 Z-28 Camaro. In 1970 they went to a 350 c.i. motor with automatic transmission as an option. The origianl 302 Z-28's only came with 4 speed trans.

And all this time I thought it was because one of my cousins wrote home during VN about their taking his M14 and giving him some "Mickey Mouse" POS gun (An M16).
