I am almost finished reading "The Last Battle,"
by Ralph Wetterhahn, about the 'Mayaguez Incident,' in 1975.  During this episode, 40
or so Marines and Airmen lost their lives in
the rescue mission of the ship's crew.  Any
comments? Thanks, John

40 guys died to save 40 guys who weren't there. I read where the Ford Administration covered up everything and they were hailed as heroes.

I saw a documentary on the History Channel ref the rescue mission.

Lots of good interviews.
