Have you read "unintended consequences"? Some of the factual presentations of firearms are really startling in that there ia a lot of actual gun facts that you can't know just by picking up a copy of "Guns" magazine. The characters penchant for large bore rifles and pistols at times borders on unreality, but my own ability as a shooter is what I compare it to. is a .44 Mag really capable of 600 yd hits on an oil drum? The African trip with the Rodda rifle seems a little beyond reality, but I love it!
