Since the lower isn't registered, it is illegal to import or possess in the PRK regardless of configuration. The lower receiver itself is contraband in the PRK, and you risk a potential felony conviction (and the loss of gun ownership rights in general) by having it within PRK boarders.
The only exception would be to get the DOJ to grant you an AW permit. I wouldn't bother wasting the paper and stamp, though. -Troy |

Better off selling it out of state , or building a nice one carbine, post m4 etc.
and putting it way in the back of the safe to fondle on special occasions oh yea! i would... |

All ak and ar series are banned no matter what.Even though you put a dedicated 22 upper the lower will still be able to accept the 223 upper.

Too late to register it. Only choices now are to get rid of it, hide it, or engage in civil disobedience with it.
